Hey, Megan
"We have sold over 500 copies of Megan Price's Vermont Wild series to readers of all ages and backgrounds. Only J.K. Rowling can top that! I think it's safe to say that almost anyone will delight at these funny tales of adventure and mis-adventure in the fields, forests and fishing grounds of northern New England."

Vermont Wild is sure to please anyone who appreciates the art of good story telling, and a healthy dose of laughter to boot. Both volumes respectively are entertaining in their entirety. At the centre of the storytelling is, Eric Nuse, whose comical delivery in volume 1, quickly sets pace for his fellow friends to follow suit, with their own tales in volume 2. With no shortage of colourful expression, Nuse has, without a scant of a doubt, a talent to tell to yarn, as he reminisces his way through rollicking riotous accounts of his work as a Game Warden.
This gem of a read is surely in a class of its own, appealing to all manner of readers with a good sense of humour, and an appetite for mischief and mayhem. With its ability to delight and surprise the reader at every turn as Nuse recalls, with such vivid imagery, of mood, place and time, hilarious details of each event in hot pursuit with his fellow wardens, of those in the gaming community who are up to no good.
Those who are fortunate enough to lay their hands on this good read, will surely not be disappointed, rather rewarded with, an education on Vermont’s back woods and rivers, including the wild life that inhabit those environs, a whole new respect for the duties of a Game warden whose noble undertaking is to rid the gaming landscape of those who hunt with no scruples, while keeping those who are left in the field honest, and of course, some good old raucous laughter.
Thank you for entertaining us Eric ….. Freddie, Rolf & Maya lou’
Raised in Vermont and the only place I call home. My husband and I were back in August 2012 (we vacation there every year) and I spied Vermont Wild with its sequal at a general store, picked them up and smile and laugh with each chapter I read. A true pleasure. And Vermont Wardens (actually any game and environmental warden but, of course, I am partial to Vermont) are true treasures.
Keep them coming.
